Bulldog Connection

Watch D.O.G.S.
The Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) pizza night kickoff is Tuesday, August 31 at 6:30PM in the DMS cafeteria. Bring your dad and come learn about this exciting program! The cost is $2 per person. Please RSVP “Dad” AND your name to Amber Lewis (alewis@usd260.com) or call her in the CIS office at 788-8594.
Breakfast Program
Students and staff are able to purchase breakfast in the DMS cafeteria at 7:50AM (Tuesday-Friday) and at 8:50AM on Mondays. Students can use their ID cards to purchase a breakfast. Prices are listed below:
Student Breakfast $1.30
Reduced Breakfast $0.30
2nd Breakfast $1.90
Extra Milk $0.35
Tutoring
The first day of tutoring will be Tuesday, August 31. Tutoring sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the DMS media center from 3:35PM – 4:35PM. Students do not have to enroll ahead of time; they just need to arrive on time and sign in. If you have any questions, you may contact Mrs. Cox in the media center.
PAMS
Mintues from the August 24th meeting are posted on the PAMS page. All parents of students at DMS are encouraged to become active in the PAMS group.
Arrival and Departure Times
Students are to arrive at school no earlier than 7:50AM (or 8:50AM on Late Start Mondays).
Students are to be out of the building by 3:40PM each day.
Exceptions to these times are sports practices, extracurricular activities, tutoring, or detention.

DHS Home Football Games
The Derby football season is under way, and the high school staff is looking forward to the community coming out and showing their support of the Panthers on Friday nights. Listed below are a few basic guidelines that need to be followed to ensure the safety and pleasure of all who attend:
- Admission fee for students is $4.
- DMS students will be seated in the bleachers in the north end zone or with an adult.
- Students must have their photo ID with them at all times.
- Horseplay/inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
- All USD 260 students must remain on the home side (west) of the stadium.

Extend learning beyond the classroom this summer for your K-8 student. Derby Public Schools is pleased to announce the Virtual Learning Environment.
