Tutoring
Derby Public Schools offers a variety of free tutoring opportunities at our schools. At DMS, we offer Study Club before and after school. Needing a little extra help with your assignments? Come to Study Club in the DMS Media Center! Tutoring will be available to DMS students in the Media Center starting August 28.
• Monday-Thursday after school from 3:30-4:30PM
• Tuesday-Friday before school from 7:20-7:50AM
Outside of official school sponsored and hosted tutoring, some staff provide tutoring serves on their own time. In providing the list of names of possible student tutors below, Derby Public Schools is in no way recommending any individuals. The list reflects only those teachers who have expressed an interest in tutoring students and have agreed to have their name included on the list. When employed by a private citizen in the capacity of a tutor, these individuals are NOT serving as employees of the district, and tutoring should not take place on USD 260 property. Any fees or concerns regarding these tutoring services rendered by any individual on the list must be worked out between the two parties.
